On location at Pete3Fest Crosstalk by Turning Point Recovery Community Center

Join Matt this week on location at the third annual Pete3Fest in Murray, KY. Proceeds from the event go to support NearTown Recovery Center and we were happy to be invited to attend and discuss harm reduction efforts surrounding substance use disorders. Neartown is a residential drug and alcohol treatment program for men, that accepts Kentucky Medicaid. Crosstalk is a recovery focused podcast produced by Turning Point Recovery Community Center in Paducah, KY. Turning Point is part of Four Rivers Behavioral Health’s comprehensive substance use disorder treatment services and was established to provide easy access to those in recovery with a focus on those who are just learning to live a sober life. Turning Point is unique in that the program is designed around the concept of Peer Support. Staff at Turning Point have personal experience with substance use disorders and can offer guidance and support from a “been there, done that” perspective. Neartown is located in Kirksey, Kentucky.
