Entertaining and thorough

Intelligent, irreverent and frequently laugh out loud commentary on Supernatural.

The hosts (which include established fans of the show and one newbie first time watcher) offer nuanced insight, related lore/history, and perspectives on everything from character development, filmmaking, fashion, set design, screenwriting, and questioning/exploring queer and racial subtexts in the show. They manage a great balance of clearly loving the show while remaining critical of it in a loving way.

The style is natural with a loose but consistent format.

Banter or asides usually add rather than distracting from content. Fanfic reccs are a plus.

Occasionally the audio is subpar but other than that it’s a solid listen with great chemistry.

I often find myself going back to re-watch or re-examine shows based on what they discuss. Or snorting with laughter when they drag John or obsess over details (purple dog shirt!!).

They are also great at not giving future season spoilers which is good because I’m late to the party and only on S6.

I love this podcast

This podcast feels like talking about Supernatural with your best queer former English major friends and I love everything about that! All three hosts have great insights on the show and their chemistry and humor is off the charts!
