Ep. 11: "How Bizarre" by OMC (#4, 1997)

How bizarre to see a new episode of OHWOW, about the New Zealand trailblazer OMC, no less! In this episode, we get back to our roots with the story of Pauly Fuemana and Alan Jansson's 1997 smash. Plus, we take LSD, get abducted by robots, and surmise our demises. If you're interested in the rest, please contact our lawyers about the rights.

A-HA! For our first two-hit wonder, Maxton ropes in one of his old bandmates (Nick Bottomley of Bears and You & Christmas, Somewhere) to nerd out over the perennial 80s juggernaut, a-ha's "Take on Me", and pay tribute to its forgotten sibling, "The Sun Always Shines on TV". Prepare to be taken.

More episodes please!

Love the concept, format, and style — I wasn’t expecting it to be so genuinely funny but also respectful of the artists/subjects it covers. I know it’s probably hard to find time to record but I would love this to become a more regular podcast because because I’ve already listened to all the episodes multiple times and I want more!

Love these dudes!

Unlike the artists about which they talk, these guys keep turning in hit after hit in the form of great episodes!
