Does it really matter?

Today the topic was cremation. The response to the question basically says if you happen to be in a circumstance where your body burns then it's fine other wise you should be in a coffin because that's what humans have done in the past and God created the body so it's special. I have two questions. One, what scripture backs up that we should choose to be buried? Two, if during the rapture God takes what remains of your body on earth despite its condition and then turns around and gives you a new body anyway then why do you have to be buried in a coffin specifically? (1 Corinthians 15:35-38)
