Open Magic is a podcast about understanding magic through cozy, critical conversations. Hosted by tarot reader, Gina Wisotzky, and metaphysical writer, Bri Sikorski, this podcast reaches beyond the 101 and instead seeks to answer the "why's," "how's," and "what's," of a mindful, self-aware magical practice through conversations between each other and with trusted experts.

Mini Episode: Samhain Tarot Reading
Blessed Samhain and Happy Halloween, magical friends! In this "mini" episode we do a collective tarot reading for the holiday, exploring what is coming to fruition in our lives, the rewards we're harvesting, as well as a message from our ancestors. We also discuss our practices, plans, and traditions around Samhain and so much more.
Slow Magic & Reinterpreting Magical Practice
Another deep-dive conversation with Gina & Bri where we discuss the meaning of slow magic. We explore how to use practices in a way that's nourishing, pressure-free, and expansive, as well as how slow magic itself can bring us into a more just relationship with the world around us. Touching on our personal practices with dreamwork, kitchen witchery, reading as magic, radical intention setting, and more this episode expands the idea of magic into something innate, accessible, and practical.

Mini-Episode: Changes in Our Spiritual Practices
In this episode we answer a lovely question from one of our patrons: how would you say your spiritual practices have changed compared to a year ago? Also, is there any aspect of your practice/spiritual experiences that your younger self would be SO excited to know that you're doing? Clearly, this was an inspiring question as we cover a lot of ground, from childhood experiences to cultural appropriation, to name a few topics, all in the very "mini" timeframe of 30 minutes.
Customer ReviewsSee All
In a new-age sphere full of buzzwords, empty faux-inspirational content and spiritualized capitalism, Open Magic is full of truly insightful content and deep dives. The content is engaging, inclusive and a wonderful resource for meaningful learning
I’m coming to this podcast as a philosopher brand new to tarot, astrology, and magic in general. Gina and Bri’s rich and relatable voices open the concept of metaphysics beyond academia to encompass several modalities of embodied practices that ground and cultivate relations with one’s self, others, and the sensory world. The podcast’s investments in accessibility, lived experience, and everyday intimacies with the natural and supernatural makes it one of my morning regulars. I highly recommend these two to anyone who appreciates thoughtful conversation, radical self care, and true philosophical dialogue; a kind of beautiful, feminine metaphysics that exceeds the rigid structures of syllogistic thinking and utilizes magic as a basis for ethics.
Interesting podcast with a great perspective on “magic.” Thoughtful conversations and great hosts! Love the theme song as well
