Sometimes it's hard to make sense of this topsy turvy world. However help is at hand! Three brave men have decided to step forward and try to bring some order to the whirling maelstrom of chaos that that is human existence.
Every two weeks Mike DiLisio, Matthew Jude, and Dan Hughes take on the herculean task of ranking five seemingly unrelated things in order to prove finally, definitively, and irreversibly which one is best.
These heroes don't do it for reward, they don't even do it for praise, they just do it for the good of humanity. And the download numbers, obviously.

Finally! Thank whatever malevolent lord created this universe that SOMEBODY is choosing to fight the ever-growing entropy and attempting to categorizing existence properly as only humanity can.
The authority granted to Matthew, Mike, and Dan (listed in order from greatest to least, I’m doing my part as well) to truly give their peers priorities in life is well-used in this podcast. Their arguments are well thought out and clearly have been painstakingly edited and trimmed down over many months of work to ensure only the highest level of clarity in the important messages they provide for their listeners.
The fact-checking in this podcast is unrivaled by even the most devout news and media outlets (this might be the only true sentence in this review, the bar seems pretty low). The team also makes sure to only use objective and logical claims to support their theses, never resorting to facile opinions or subjective beliefs. It’s this sort of diligence that ensures such a high bar of competence from our hosts.
The only real worry I have about this show is the seeming frivolity of the selection process. Dogs barking is a useful item to assign in the hierarchy, true, but bandanas and Wooster Sauce (spell check didn’t correct me so it must be spelled right), and their place in creation surely concern the listener to a much lesser degree! However, being that this review is written after just the pilot episode, I shall forgive.
I look forward to seeing more high-stakes rankings being added. For example: knowing the importance of throw-pillows could help settle marital debates more efficiently. Having a clear understanding of sand and it’s place in the world would have a profound effect on the tourism industry. And imagine the changes in a society having a true knowledge of the significance of the color red. Everything from schools, to traffic, and even human emotion could be flipped on its head, potentially!
These men are doing important work, and it should be taken seriously, and be listened to by people everywhere.
Thank you for your time.
