Ep. 4: Ramadan with IT Expert Malick Ndiaye (Senegal)

Alongside fasting, Hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca is a key tradition in Islam. Malick Ndiaye, a Senegalese IT expert, shares his first time visiting Saudi Arabia to follow in the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) — Not once, not twice, but three times. He first went on Ummrah (small pilgrimage) in 2015, then during Ramadan 2016, and later during the annual Hajj in 2018. Malick and Jemila also explore the principles of tolerance and giving in Islam; as well as their personal journeys to seeking knowledge, living in the Diaspora and returning back home to Africa.
