Black Girls Who Organize with Dalys Macon Organize Me! Radio

    • Home & Garden

Collaboration and support in the professional organizing industry used to be hard to come by, but not anymore. In this episode, Naeemah chats with Dalys Macon, owner of D'Vine Order, and creator of Black Girls Who Organize. They talk about why Dalys created her group and the need to have safe spaces for people of color in the organizing industry.

Dalys Macon is the owner of D’Vine Order, LLC, a Professional Organizing and Styling company, based in Prince George’s (PG) County, Maryland, and servicing the surrounding Washington, DC Metro area and beyond. She is also the founder of the Black Girls Who Organize (BGWO) Instagram platform.

Growing up in the Republic of Panama, Dalys maintained an orderly room and wardrobe admired by friends. Living with creative parents, who encouraged artistic freedom in their home, planted a gift that developed in a way that she knows is not natural to many. She developed a keen sense for color from her Dad, an artist, and stylish clothes from her mom, a seamstress. It was also the beginning of her love for beautifully curated spaces and wardrobes.

Since 2018, her company has offered clients optimal on-site and virtual home and wardrobe organization and styling. It is their goal to have you D’Vinely Ordered—that is, to organize and simplify your space in a functional yet aesthetically beautiful way that YOU can maintain.

As a woman of faith and natural connector, in 2020, Dalys founded the Black Girls Who Organize (BGWO) platform on Instagram. BGWO bridges the gap between Black and minority Professional Organizers and the overall Professional Organizing Community. Learn more about Dalys on her website https://divineorder4u.com/
