Jon Scheid "Gold Day" (show)
From the bands U Sco, Duck. Little Brother, Duck! and Prisoner's Cinema, experimental math rock guitarist, bassist, singer, songwriter, noise maker, Portland native: Jon Scheid.
We spent a fantastic week together writing music, eating burritos, sculpting sounds, eating more burritos, and turning all the available knobs in our sleepless effort to produce this ever-evolving, expansive reimagining of the Sparklehorse song "Gold Day".

Noah Bernstein "I Wish It Would Rain" (show)
Our first episode ever!
My guest this week: experimental jazz saxophonist, composer, bagel maker, member of a million different Portland musical projects, and all around fantastic dude--Noah Bernstein! We spent the rainiest week ever sitting in my exceedingly cold bedroom, talking music, despair, whiskey and weather while deconstructing and reimagining The Temptations' heartbreaking song "I Wish It Would Rain".
We went to about a million different creative places I never imagined us going, throughout what turned out to be an incredibly inspiring and rewarding collaborative experience. We made a really surprising, strange, dark thing, and I couldn't be happier about it.

What an awesome introduction to this cool new series! As of the review there has only been one episode released - a cool experimental jazz cover. Great production value and awesome music - can't wait to hear the next one!
