Colin spent several decades in South Africa counseling couples, advising young people on their careers, coaching executives on leadership skills, and becoming an expert in emotional intelligence. Colin moved to Utah, USA about 5 years ago. He has since started his own consulting company in Salt Lake that focuses on cultivating success for a business’s employees. He is also starting a compatibility assessment for couples called ConeXsions that uses psychological principles to predict solid compatibility.

Arash Tadjiki is an Iranian-American stand-up comedian based in Salt Lake City, Utah. His comedy primarily focuses on culture, politics, and his experience as a first generation immigrant. Arash regularly performs at Wiseguy’s comedy club in Salt Lake City as well as festivals around the country.

MCycle is a spin studio in Downtown SLC. They combine cardio and culture to create a truly empowering workout. People make and keep friends when they clip into the bikes at MCycle. We talk to Megan and Richmond about how they opened their cycle studio, why they opened it, and who they are. We discuss following a dream, motivation, meaning, and life changes. Mark has been running the Petersen Art Center with his Father Pete since 1993. The goal is to teach and inspire the community to find their creative expression through various mediums of art. From watercolor classes, to pottery there is room for everyone at the Petersen Art Center. All ages, all skill levels -the goal is to get people flowing and creating. Not only is it a school for art, it’s a community where people can come together and find belonging. Mark was an absolute dream to talk to and Other People’s Stories looks forward to speaking to him again soon. Jes Nelson is the owner of Black Honey Tattoo. Shes an amazing artist, be it drawing, painting, making music, dancing and tattooing. She’s lived all over and obtained truly unique and incredible experiences. Her passion in life is art and the creative process paired with holding safe spaces for others so that they may become their more authentic selves.
