My Brain is Not Broken, it's Just Different - NueroSpicy, ADHD

Join me in my interview with Dr. Kristen Williamson—licensed professional counselor, neurodivergent advocate, and proud ringleader of a “neurospicy” family. Her life is a whirlwind of late-night epiphanies, busting mental health myths, and finding joy in the chaos of navigating autism, ADHD, and parenting kids who keep her on her toes. She has always felt like she was dancing to her own beat—but nobody gave her the playlist. It wasn’t until adulthood that she discovered she was neurodivergent, and suddenly, her quirks and challenges made sense. That “ah-ha” moment didn’t just change her life—it gave her a mission to help others embrace their differences and thrive. Now, she combines humor, personal stories, and practical advice to tackle big topics like: - Why neurodivergent brains are the secret weapon every workplace needs. - How to turn “chaotic energy” into a leadership superpower. - And why mental health isn’t all doom and gloom. When she’s not counseling clients or speaking on neurodiversity and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging), you’ll find her debating the merits of pineapple on pizza, perfecting her meme game, or plotting her next adventure with her husband Dr. Kristen Williamson Website - https://www.empowermindsolutionsllc.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61573292573273# Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/empowermindsolutionsllc/?en LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/drkristenwilliamson/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@empowerminds.solu?_t=ZT-8uIRNSOAKvW&_r=1 OTR sites: Podcast Website: https://bobadleman.wixsite.com/otrmentalhealth Mail:          OvertheRainbowbob@gmail.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/otrachievingmentalhealhfr Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/over_the_rainbow_achieving   Twitter:     https://twitter.com/overtherain1bown YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChEYTddPDUaiZbFliit1r5Q LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/robert-adleman/ This podcast uses the following third-party services for analysis: Podder - https://www.podderapp.com/privacy-policy Podtrac - https://analytics.podtrac.com/privacy-policy-gdrp

The Truth About Reading with Dyslexia - AI program that teaches Neurodiverse to read effortlessly

Can it be true? Dyslexic and ADHDer David Chalk claims it's the real deal and I believe him. He is giving his Beta program away free if you sign up, at ReadingRoad.ai. David was on the documentary "The Truth About Reading" (streaming on TUBI) where he was taught how to read faster and comprehend more. I dare Dyslectics to watch this documentary without crying. He went from reading 1 book a year to reading easily 20 books a month. Listen to David's miraculous story about becoming a commercial airline pilot after being bullied in school and being told he would amount to nothing and wind up in jail or the streets. David credits his mother who taught him to always keep trying and have faith in yourself. Chalk has been involved in the technology industry for over 25 years, from being a commercial pilot to working in technology industries. His background began with video streaming during the early days of the internet. He developed the video engine for Yahoo! 1999, which generated $60m in capital. He created Canada’s technology magazine, Computer Buyer Magazine in 1983. In 1996, he established one of the longest-running technology shows in Canada ("Dave Chalk's Computer Show"). Chalk founded many companies including Doppler Computer Superstores, Chalk Media, Trees Matter, New Century Video Streaming, and CalmWear™ Compression Clothing for Autism and most recently he helps create Mentorship programs within organizations. Goodbye Anxiety, Depression, Addiction & PTSD: The Life-Changing Science of Dual-Brain Psychology.

Join me as I talk with Dr. Fredric Schiffer about his new book. Goodbye Anxiety, Depression, Addiction & PTSD: The Life-Changing Science of Dual-Brain Psychology. Dr. Fredric Schiffer is a sought-after public speaker, best-selling author, psychiatrist and part-time assistant professor at Harvard. Dr. Schiffer has a wealth of experience in psychiatry. He has been studying the relationship between past traumas, cerebral laterality, depression and anxiety. He has tremendous knowledge of Dual-Brain Psychology techniques. Through his groundbreaking work as founder of the Dual-Brain Psychology Institute, he discovered that the brain is made up of two minds which are competing for dominance. When the immature and troubled half of the brain is treated, Dual-Brain Psychology techniques can successfully curb anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction, and improve psychological wellbeing. The doctor believes that many mental issues originate from early traumas and very often it’s trauma that has not been recognized. Dr. Schiffer has discovered a technique to treat the troubled mind using something as unlikely as a piece of junk mail. This new book details the innovative new procedure to relieve the symptoms of these major mental issues. We go over the main points of the technique in this episode. You don’t want to miss it.
