    • Places & Travel

It’s a magical and true New York story, unlike any I have ever heard of before, and one that I believe will live on forever bringing love and hope all around the world, 'Our Subway Baby.'
Welcome to the Gossipnista podcast, where you can  look forward to an inspirational, eye-opening, informative, and unexpected season 4 - with stories and tips from an array of amazing New Yorkers. Hold onto your subway seats…it’s going to be a fast moving and interesting ride.
Episode 35, I had the privilege of interviewing Danny Stewart and his husband, Pete Mercurio, a couple who’s lives changed one August day, nearly 22 years ago in New York City. Danny, came across a newborn baby inside a New York City subway station and that is when their lives would forever change and where the story begins…
Making national and international news all around the world with their story til this day, Danny and Pete were gracious enough to share their New York and subway baby story with me, plus their tips on navigating the city as well as some adoption insights. Pete has even commemorated their story by writing a beautiful children’s book called, ‘Our Subway Baby’, which I highly recommend and you get learn more about below.
Every second of this interview is worth the listen, maybe even bringing you a joyful tear here and there, with so much city insights and an only in New York happy ending.
