A third generation Washingtonian, Andy spent his career in broadcasting at the Evening Star Broadcast Group, WMAL and WMAL TV, Channel 50 and most recently Comcast/NBC Universal. Andy’s experience and leadership at major stations has allowed him to conduct business and develop close relationships with individuals including presidents, sports heroes, and influencers in the political, business and charitable communities. Twice weekly, listeners will have the opportunity to catch up with people they consider their heroes, old friends or newsmakers from the past in Our Town.     Matheos Mesfin is the Founder and Executive Director of the Institute for East African Councils of Higher Education. The IEA Councils specializes in college access for immigrant (and first-generation immigrant) students of East African heritage.     Lisa Baden, Traffic Reporter and Radio Personality, has been reporting traffic in Our Town for 27 years. She is a favorite radio personality of host Andy Ockershausen, as well as many drivers she’s helped navigate traffic over the years. She’s been on mornings, afternoons, and overnights. She worked at University of Maryland’s radio station while working full time and going to school part time to obtain the experience she needed to be hired on radio and the rest is history.
