This episode features a Tribal House mix by a dear friend who has been like a big brother throughout the years, DJ Smoke aka Pablo. Very grateful for the Calderone brothers. When I first started DJing Smoke taught us the ropes by passing down his first pair of belt drive turntables and some of his vinyl. It was Smokes younger brother Pete aka Illogik , Realizm (Danny) and I were forced to learn how to mix on these low budget entry level tables. We later graduated to Technics 1200’s of course, but learning to mix on belt drives for those of you that know well… you know! Lets not forget the Gemini mixer, lol. He also played a major role in teaching us how to play at our first gigs. He got us to play at the legendary Limelight, in the Chapel and in the lounge, as well as a few spots in Hoboken. Lets not forget some of the legendary house parties I hosted, lol. So this thank you goes out to you Pablo aka DJ Smoke…
