I’m so glad ‘Out to Lunch’ pod continued with Ade! A delight to listen to. Keep’m coming!

It's been seven months since the last episode of Out To Lunch. Will the podcast continue, or has it been canceled? As a subscriber, I’d like to know. The second version with Ade was good, and I thought it would improve over time, but there has been nothing since December. I like this podcast a lot; the original version with Jay Rayner was fantastic, but it doesn't look like it will continue. That's a shame. I give it four stars because the show's producers have not provided an update in half a year. What’s the point in subscribing?

I’ve gotten through the backlog and enjoyed almost every minute of it! Being a listener from the States I still enjoy hearing about the restaurants and food out of my reach. I can only hope to hear the bonus episodes sometime without having to pay(there is advertising for that). Love show, please keep up the good work Jay! Jim

I do not need this podcast in my feed. The constant begging for five stars is getting really old. If you were that good we would already have given you five stars

Up to the Jimmy Carr episode, I think I had enjoyed every one of these interviews and eagerly looked forward to the download on Mondays. It sounded from the interview that Jay does not like Jimmy Carr and I can only imagine how uncomfortable it must have felt having lunch together. It was certainly uncomfortable listening to it. Hopefully Jay will stick to people whose company he enjoys and I can go back to looking forward to these podcasts, instead of squirming in my seat and wishing it would stop.

Two intelligent, interesting people having a wonderful meal with each other is the simplest form of joy. I look forward to being a fly on the wall every week.

Entertaining and funny do not miss this podcast!

That rarest of things, a podcast that is a real and compelling conversation. Rayner gets wonderful guests and makes you feel you’re the silent guest at the best lunch you’ve been to in years.

I enjoy the podcast talking to interesting folks from our culture, but Jay Rayner is the Marmite of podcast hosts - you either love Jay or you hate him. He is clearly an engaging conversationalist with his guests, but his ego, does sometimes get in the way of his guest, which I find off putting. I assume (it sounds as such from Jay’s comments, but I’m not 100% sure) the food is provided to Jay free of charge by the relevant restaurant, which, given the pandemic and the hospitality industry’s struggles, it would be nice to see them paid (surely a sponsor can pony up the money?).
