Season 4: Ella Enchanted
Welcome back to our month of magical beginnings!
This week we have a story with a ball, a prince, and a pair of glass slippers...but this isn't Cinderella, or is it? We read Ella Enchanted and watched the 2004 movie (happy 20th anniversary) and yes, this is another take on the Cinderella story, but with a little bit more.
This episode was all about magic, Anne Hathaway, and Shrek.
And we also drop a few not so subtle hints about some upcoming page to screen episodes ;)

Customer Reviews
Fun and Informative
Love listening to this Podcast. Kristina and Nicole know more about the books and movies they are reviewing than anyone that just goes to the cinema or shops to pick up a book. You might enjoy one or the other or have read and watched both media forms and have your own thoughts. However these ladies dive in, dig deep, offer fun facts, and perspective comparing the time the work was written or when the film was made to today’s cultural opinions both popular and unpopular alike. Every episode is filled with laughter and sometimes cringing groaning but all of it is entertaining and makes you think and reminds us of why we love books and film. Finally it creates space for you to ask yourself “Which is better The Book or the Movie”
Like hanging out with friends
This is a fun podcast - great chemistry- great delivery- listening to this while on my way to work each episode. Love the fun facts, the humor and their research. It’s just like hanging out and talking books and movies with friends.
