You are not alone! Many people have never heard about this amazing series! Maybe that’s because it got overshadowed by other great books or maybe it just really missed the mark for the young adult audience. Either way we are so very excited to say “Welcome to Everworld!”.

Be warned, there will be SPOILERS ahead in this episode. If you would like a spoiler free experience, check out Everworld: Search for Senna by K.A. Applegate. Don't forget to come back and join our weird book club podcast once you've finished the story!

Episode 58: Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke

Prepare your mind, body, and soul for a journey full of trauma, discomfort, and disgust. This is your trigger warning folks, things are about to get weird...and by weird we mean you might literally vomit. Sorry about that! This novella was a surprise for both palaver hosts! We can’t really say we enjoyed every minute of it, but DAMN this author is a wordsmith that paints a picture with his writing. (Even if we would rather he didn’t!) We hope you enjoy this spontaneous read and don’t forget to ask yourself, “What did you do today to deserve your eyes?”

Episode 56: Authors Spotlight - Peter Straub

We are back guys! We are so happy to be back doing what we love! This episode is an author's spotlight for none other than Peter Straub. Before doing any research, we knew Peter as the guy who put up with Stephen King’s madness and co-wrote two amazing books with him. However, after this episode we have so much respect for Peter as a creator of amazing horror stories. We will definitely be adding more of his books to our “I will read this someday” bookshelves!

Great Listen!

I love listening to Jess and Kendra discuss novels, authors, and concepts. They’ve really inspired me to read more and explore different genres. Both ladies have an excellent way of summarizing the books, and I love hearing their input and personal opinions. I look forward to catching up with the episodes I’m behind on and start listening weekly!!

A Great Weekly Listen!

My husband and I both listen to this podcast every week. While I am not into the horror novels that these fabulous ladies delve into, my husband LOVES them! I love that, while I may not read these books, I can relate to my husband's love of all the horror novels. These ladies do not just cover horror, but also other popular novels and even an opera. My favorite part of the podcast is the author spotlights! I also enjoy listening to the listener suggestions, which we need more of. ;) I can't wait for the new episodes each week. :)
