    Bombastic Birds of Prey!

    Bombastic Birds of Prey!

We're back once again heroes and heroines! Get ready for an episode full of egg sandwiches, hyenas, and weird pronunciations of the name "Will Smith"!

This episode, Cody and Zack talk about "Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)". Will it be better than Suicide Squad? Does Zack enjoy the film despite it being a modern DC title? Does Cody make an argument that Black Mask is actually a high-ranking villain? Are we asking too many questions before you all even listen to this thing? (Probably.)

Grab your spicy Chinese food, get out your metal bat, and make sure to pack an extra shirt as we check out this Harley Quinn fueled insanity!

    The Jarring Joker

    The Jarring Joker

Welcome back faithful listeners and perpetuating promoters of panels!

This week, Cody and Zack take on, "Joker". Though this episode is a bit dated, we felt it was good to get our thoughts on this highly awarded, yet uncomfortable film about a clown. Oh, and there's some comic-based things in it too!

Was it as good as folks say? Does it have momentum to keep making sequels and carry DC film? Or was it maybe a bit over-hyped? Listen and find out!

Panel to Picture:The Last Jedi Comic and Film (Ft. Alex Faciane)

Welcome back heroes and heroines! We have returned after hiatus and ready to roll with all new episodes every week this month!

This episode, Zack and Cody are joined by LA Jedi and green milk enthusiast, Alex Faciane! Together, the trio tackle the comic adaptation of what might possibly be the most controversial Star Wars film, "The Last Jedi".

Do some of the more debated scenes translate better in comic format? Does the comic add more or have less context for certain characters? Is there reasoning behind things like sea-lion milk, droids full of gambling coins, and different expectations for villains? There's only one way to find out!

Join us for a discussion about sci-fi, theme, mythology, and fandom as we dive into our first ever "Panel to Picture" review!

    Astonishing Avengers!

    Astonishing Avengers!

We've assembled a team in what is (currently) our most ambitious crossover yet!
Gathering all of our good friends that enjoyed 2012's Avengers with them, Cody, Joe, Kassie, and Zack all form up to discuss what is possibly one of the best examples of comic book film and fun story telling! Listen as Zack rages about Captain America's earmuffs, Cody asks if Agent Coleson is still impacting as a character, Kassie explains her love for Mark Ruffalo, and Joe brings up Joss Whedon's vision that brought the film to life. We hope you enjoy this episode of  crazy comic film fans as much as we did making it for you!

    Ambitious Alita: Battle Angel

    Ambitious Alita: Battle Angel

Greetings all you wonderful thrill seekers and adventure lovers!
In a first for the podcast we have a film that is divisive among our pod-casting heroes!
On one side, we have Zack and Joe who enjoyed this year's manga to film adaption, Alita: Battle Angel. The two talk about how they find it to be a fun, visually striking adventure that invoked great sci-fi appeal.
Meanwhile, Cody provides his completely contrasting views on the film, arguing that it is narratively dull, rushed, and sometimes nonsensical. Arguing that visuals alone cannot make a completely un-invested viewer care about the film, this episode is filled with contrasting viewpoints!
Which side, if any, do you agree with? Strap on your roller blades, grab some chocolate, and let's get ready to talk about Alita: Battle Angel!
