Midnight Movie Cowboys Stuart Baulk, Hunter Duesing, John Grace

Hunter is once again joined for a Midnight Millennial Cowboys by Eric Zaldivar and Zolly Becker to mark the occasion of the re-release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace in the theater. Here we look back at the cultural events surrounding its release, the ebb and flow of Star Wars in the culture, and how the film was George Lucas' final authentic expression as a filmmaker. No smarmy Gen X takes, no RLM nitpicking, just what Star Wars meant at the time in 1999.

 
Hey gang, we are back with a new episode, well, we aren't, but our newest affiliate is. Gang, we've been missing for a while because we have secretly been working on securing this gentleman to join our MMC network. It took a few months, but finally, we can announce that none other than John Waters himself has his own podcast right here on the MMC.
 
You see we were contacted by Mr. Waters back in late 2023, he enjoyed our show and wanted to express himself with a new format besides film, when we suggested he start his own podcast - he was all for it. We offered to house the great man here and after a bit of back and forth, he accepted.
 
So please welcome the legendary John Waters to the MMC. We think you'll love it.

The MMC return to true crime with the new Max documentary "They Called Him Mostly Harmless." The documentary explores the world of extremely online internet sleuths as they try to uncover the identity of a John Doe who died of starvation in the woods, who didn't seem to want anyone to know who he really was. 
John and Hunter talk about the weird world of internet detective wanna-be's, why hikers look like they're out of shape, and people who seek out intense situations.

 
Hey gang, we are back, well nearly all of us, for another All Filler, No Killer episode. On this one, Stu and John are joined by Garo, to discuss... whatever we wanted. None of this is planned, it is just a 2 hour talk about whatever. The usual rants are there - Politics, Bruce Lee, Wrestling, along with some other stuff.

John and Hunter ring in the new year with some wrasslin' kino as they dig in to Sean Durkin's "The Iron Claw," the film chronicling the triumph and many tragedies of the Von Erich wrestling dynasty. They discuss the movie, the accuracies and lack thereof, and the historical context for the film.

 
Hey gang, well after a horrifically long wait, we present to you, our Halloween episode.... recorded in November.... released just before Christmas. Anyway life has been at breakneck speed for some of us, hence why this episode of so so very late, but it's here now.
 
On this one, the 3 of us sit down and discuss the Don Coscarelli horror favourite - Phantasm,  no wait, isn't it The Never Dead? Depending on which part of the world you lived in, you knew it as either one or the other.
 
This episode isn't very long (just over an hour) but it is crammed with al things Phantasm, the odd tangent is there, but that's to be expected.
 
Anyway, again, apologies for the lateness of this. The MMC WILL be back in full swing in 2024, we just needed a break for a bit (hey we have been doing this 13 years, we do get tired ya know)
