Teachings And Lectures From Park Hill Church
GALATIANS: THE PERSPECTIVE SHIFT WE NEED
From our series "Galatians: One New Family." Paul's letter to a divided church in Galatia might as well be addressed to the church of America today. He pleads with us to lay down our tribalism and unite around Jesus. In this teaching, we zoom in on Paul's intro. In these few short verses Paul invites us to shift our perspective and see reality through Jesus' own lenses. This is an invitation to see reality as it is. If we receive it, it has the potential strengthen our anxious hearts, elevate us above division, experience healing in our relationships, and release us into 2022 with genuine joy. This is the perspective shift we need.
GALATIANS: ONE NEW FAMILY
From our series "Galatians: One New Family." In this first teaching of the series, we paint the backdrop for Paul's letter to the church in Galatia. It's the AD 50s, and the Galatian church is breaking apart over nonessential issues. The unifying message of Galatians is very timely for the American church in 2022.
THE SPIRIT-FILLED LIFE YOU CRAVE
The first teaching from Park Hill Church in 2022. As the world steps into a new year, many are filled with uncertainty. Understandably so. We've been through a lot these last two years. We want to experience peace. But what if this moment of uncertainty was actually a moment of great opportunity for the people of God? Cue St. Stephen – one of the most compelling figures in human history. In a time of great uncertainty and upheaval, Stephen lives the Spirit-filled life you crave.
Praying With Jesus: Part 1 – Sacred Time
From our "Praying With Jesus" miniseries. Why are so many Christians dissatisfied with their prayer lives? Is there anything we can learn from the rhythms of Jesus that might help us?
ADVENT \\ LOVE
From our Advent 2021 series. Love is a common theme at Advent and Christmastime. The arrival of God With Us uniquely reveals to us the God who is love. What does it mean to say God is love? Through the two lenses of the gospel and his own life story, Luis Mellado explores the length, width, depth, and height of God's love.
ADVENT \\ PEACE
From our Advent 2021 series. Eight centuries before Jesus, the prophet Isaiah looked forward to a king who would bring God's eternal kingdom of peace. Isaiah even called this future king "Prince of Peace." When King Jesus was born, the angels called his birth the arrival of peace. What does this mean for us in 2021 – when anxiety and dissatisfaction with life is at an all time high? Does Jesus really expect us to believe we can experience his rich peace in our time of violence?
A Church Evolved
I’m so incredibly thankful for Park Hill and these podcasts. Not long ago, I hit rock bottom in my spirituality and became disillusioned w the church. The leaders at Park Hill are evolving the way things are done in a very refreshing way. They acknowledge today’s challenges and realities and make sense of them in light of the scriptures. To witness minds like theirs pave this path has been immeasurably encouraging and helpful in restoring my faith in the church.
A church that stands out
I recently started attending Park Hill church and am so impressed. Each sermon packs a punch and is so relevant to living a Christ-like life in the current challenging modern times. I feel so encouraged every week. The podcast is the best resource, especially because I’m not always able to attend service, or if I want to reflect even further on a past weeks message.
Great church plant and crucial content.
I so appreciate these podcasts. The content is extremely well-oiled and relevant to the world we live in.
