Welcome to the podcast, Path to Peace with Todd Perelmuter. My goal is to help everyone realize their full potential, become their most enlightened selves, and make this world a happier and more peaceful place.
Having seen so many around me suffering from stress, addiction, suicidal thoughts, anxiety and depression, I decided to embark upon a 9-year journey that would take me to over 35 countries living with and learning from shamans, gurus, monks and tribes. I studied 16 religions and spiritualities, ancient wisdom and modern science, and spent 50 days meditating in total solitude, all in an effort to discover the secrets to a peaceful mind.
If you’re ready to let go of your negative thoughts and the baggage that is weighing you down, if you’re ready for a life filled with joy, purpose and meaning, please join me on the Path to Peace with Todd Perelmuter. If you find any of my podcasts even a little helpful, please make sure to leave a review so it can reach many others who may be in need.
Welcome and it is so great to have you here. Being here and putting in this noble work is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and others. Afterall, the more peace we bring into our lives, the more peace we bring into this world.

How to Feel Satisfied With What We Have in Life — Part 1
We humans are striving animals. More than any other species, humans have big goals, dreams and ambitions. Only humans want to change the whole world. That's both why humans are so successful, but it's also why we're never quite satisfied.
So how can we be happy with what we have while still striving for more? How can we struggle our way towards success, and yet be happy along the way? And how can we feel content no matter where we are, where we've been, and where we reach tomorrow? I answer these questions and more in this two-part series on finding contentment and peace right here and right now.

Recovery from Codependency and Codependent Relationships
When we grow up in chaotic homes, it's not uncommon to develop anxiety and insecurity that can lead to codependency in our relationships. Codependent relationships, where one person is doing all the work, can take a tremendous toll on our well being.
In today's podcast, I talk about what codependency can look like, why it happens, and what we can do to break the cycle, heal and move forward in healthy and loving relationships.

Which One Habit Can Improve Self Love?
We all want love. We love love. But there is no one who can love us harder or more intimately than ourselves. So how do we love ourselves? Why are we so hard on ourselves? What even is self love? Is it a spa day, a doughnut, or a new pair of shoes?
In today's podcast, I explore the most important thing we can do to change that inner voice in our head from a critic to our best and wisest friend. I discuss what is at the root of self hatred, and how we can plant the seeds of self love and compassion in our mind, and how those seeds can blossom into a beautiful friendship.

How Can Cruelty and Hatred Be Part of the Perfect Tapestry of Life?
Someone recently asked me, "How do you reconcile the whole, 'Everything is a beautiful part of the tapestry,' with all the ugliness present in the world? Is hatred, malice, vengeance not a part of the tapestry?"
In today's podcast, I talk about why we can't see the beauty, balance and oneness. I talk about what obscures our view of the miraculous nature of our universe. And I share how we can pierce that veil of ignorance and see beyond suffering, beyond expectations, and beyond the prison of polarities, of likes and dislikes, and see the infinite perfection all around us.

My Story of Grief
Recently, my family was stuck with that most tragic of news that every family receives but no one ever expects. A few weeks ago, we got the call that one of the closest people in my life has been diagnosed with late-stage terminal cancer.
So, how does someone who teaches about spirituality grieve? Do they grieve? What does loss look like to someone who teaches non-attachment and impermanence? In today's podcast, I share my story of grief and loss, how spirituality has been my rock and guiding light in these dark times, and how we can all prepare for, and survive, these most challenging of times.

How to Get Out of My Comfort Zone and Be Content?
A healthy amount of fear is good. It prevents us from taking a selfie too close to the edge of a cliff. But when fear goes beyond protecting us from danger, that's when fear becomes dangerous. When it morphs into protecting us from the slightest discomfort, then fear can become our prison.
Fear is an insidious monster that can take over our entire lives if we're not careful. It can turn every window of opportunity into a locked door. It can paralyze us, stunt our growth, and prevent us from living a full life.
So how do we overcome fear? How do we find comfort in the uncomfortable? And how can we both try new things, work to achieve big dreams, but still be happy with what we have right now? I answer all these questions and more in today's podcast.

Customer Reviews
Well communicated
As an Alan Watts, Ram Das, Michael Singer and Eckhart Tolle fan, I really enjoy this podcast. Todd speaks clearly and thoughtfully about the human psyche and has a slightly different approach than the other authors I mentioned. His emphasis is strongly on meditation and as a soul that has been practicing meditation for a couple of decades it’s good to have the encouragement. Thanks for sharing your experiences in a easy to consume manner. Wish I had your patience and willingness to be so disciplined.
Easy listening
I have been working on my transformation and finding this podcast has been so helpful. He addresses some real world issues people can have- that I have had. Things that made me question my path and if I even deserve it. It’s informative and really resonates.
Great listen
I find the way he translates it very easy to understand and absorb.
