Process & Purpose feat. Molly Backlund | PAWCast 59 | Veterinary Podcast PAWCast | Veterinary Podcast | PAW Health Network

    • Self-Improvement

For the first time, the PAWCast assigned homework in episode 55. Molly was tasked with drawing the lines between clinic process and our shared purpose of Serve The Patient. As any good teacher does, this week is all about the beginning of her journey in learning that method of communication and some of the initial roadblock she has faced. We use tools such as her assessment and the dichotomy of leadership to further understand those issues and relate them in a universal way to those seeking to improve their collaboration within their clinic. We also discuss the couple times Molly has had to work within the state board review process as a veterinary technician, as well as a highly unique 'Heather' case as we refer to them here at PAW.
In this episode, we discuss Molly's growth plan, her path forward in improving collaboration, the things she has learned in learning by accountability, the insanity of working night shifts, and how to communicate purpose within process and why that works so well in coaching.
If you are ready to take the next step in collaboration, this episode is for you.
How do you find you have to adjust your communication style to collaborate best with your team? Let us know in the comments!
