Hate Speech – We Must Be Equipped
Date: September 24, 2023
Scripture: Ephesians 4:7-16
Speaker: Pastor Nate Harney
Summary:
When truth in love is no longer tolerated, we must be equipped.
Christ came to save us. This was his mission; this is the Gospel. But when Christ returned to heaven, the story doesn’t end there. He has also given us people in the church and in our lives that would not just build our faith but equip us for ministry. Christians are to be ministers on mission, equipped so that we would be mature Christians, prepared to withstand the opposition of the world. -
Hate Speech: We Must Be Unified
Date: September 17, 2023
Scripture: Ephesians 4:1-6
Speaker: Pastor Ryan Kimmel
Summary: As Paul begins this section of Ephesians, the groundwork he lays is one of unity among God’s people. Knowing this was also the focus of Jesus’ final prayer, we can see that God has a great desire for his people to be unified. And in a world where the church will only increasingly be criticized and attacked, it is paramount we remain one and unified in him. -
Hate Speech: We Must Be Holy
Date: September 10, 2023
Scripture: Ephesians 4:15
Speaker: Pastor Ryan Kimmel
Summary: While love is the Christian ethic and our greatest commandment, we are to be holy. Our identity is one of distinctiveness in this world, that we are to be set apart. Rather than worrying about whether the world sees us as loving, we should be concerned if we are being holy. -
Honest to Goodness – A Psalm of Ethan
Honest to Goodness – A Psalm of Ethan
Date: September 3, 2023
Scripture: Psalm 89
Speaker: Pastor Daryl Crawford
Summary: The ESV entitles Psalm 89, “I Will Sing of the Steadfast Love of the Lord”. This psalm is all about responding in song to God’s great love and faithfulness. Rejoicing fully before the Lord because of who He is and what He’s done is what we were designed to do! Being authentic is about being our true selves, and we are never more true than when we are doing what we were designed to do: rejoicing in the Lord! -
Honest to Goodness – A Psalm of the Sons of Korah
Date: August 27, 2023
Scripture: Psalm 85
Guest Speaker: Pastor Ethan Ezikian
Summary: The ESV entitles Psalm 85, “Revive Us Again” because as we read this psalm, we are convicted by our past sins, but even more than that, we are reminded of God’s great love towards us, which is what revives us when we fall into sin. This reminds us that true authenticity comes from knowing our salvation comes not from our own effort, but because we have been revived by God. -
Honest to Goodness – A Psalm of Solomon
Date: August 20, 2023
Scripture: Psalm 127
Speaker: Pastor Logan Bailey
Theme: The ESV entitles Psalm 127, “Unless the Lord Builds the House” because this psalm reminds us that every true and good thing comes from God, that he is the one who gives us all that we have, including our children and legacy. In this psalm, we’ll learn that a key to authenticity is recognizing that all we have is from the Lord, and that feeds a humility which is critical to authenticity.

Never have I heard a pastor (and preaching staff) that could apply the word of God to today’s trouble, as well as be so sound in reformed theology as this pastor is.
