Becca Ingersoll is an expert at Finding Joy through Life's Trials. And that is, indeed, the name of her own podcast.
Everybody's got something, right? And she would be the first to say that is true... but she has walked the walk before talking the talk. She is here to support others in their journey of finding joy. She's actually one of the kindest, most joy-filled people I know!
Becca has special needs twins who were born prematurely. Wine Camp Registration Now Open! with Robin Hackney
This week's episode is a little different in that I'm not releasing an interview, but rather announcing more details about Wine Camp!
In case you missed it, one of my former leaders, Robin Hackney, who now has her own podcast (called Spandex & Wine) and I are planning a retreat for our people this Fall. We're calling it Wine Camp, and it's happening September 19-21...this year... 2024... in Texas Hill Country.
Back when we were wine guides together, every year, our company would put on an annual event where we'd come together to learn about wine, and more than anything, create community with each other. We'd taste A L-O-T of wine, share fun experiences, grow and laugh together. It was a BLAST.
We wanted to keep meeting fellow wine lovers, make new friends and deepen old friendships, learn a little bit, and above all, have so. Much. FUN!
So, we created our own retreat. And we're calling it Wine Camp!

The "Fab 4" - My Podcast Accountability Group
One of the greatest experiences of my podcasting class was being placed into "accountability pods" where small groups could choose to meet up regularly, inspire, and lift each other up.
My Pod of 4 incredible women has met every Wednesday, sharing ideas, challenging each other, and keeping each other on track.
This week, I'm sharing our first recorded conversation where we collaborated to ask each other the questions we normally ask our podcast guests. The answers were surprising and entertaining!
As background, here's a bit about each of my new-ish friends.
Alison Fraser grew up in the United Kingdom, and now lives in New Zealand. She works a full time job (she started her career as a journalist), is a wife and mom, enjoys Park Runs nearly every weekend, and has TWO podcasts! Women Who Podcast and Our Scotland. I'll post a link to these and to Robin's and Becca's podcasts in my show notes. You're going to want to check them out!
Becca Ingersoll is a wife and mom of special needs twins. She's on a mission to support other women and parents who are facing challenges, including childhood cancers and other medical struggles. She wants you to know, "You're not alone" and shares her podcast Finding Joy through Life's Trials.
Robin Hackney has been a friend for a long time! We went through the podcasting class together and are now collaborating on a retreat to Texas Hill Country in the Fall of 2024. Robin has her own fitness business and her podcast is called Spandex and Wine, because it's all about finding balance.
I learned a lot about my friends and hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did!

Mint Miller on creating a BetterMint
Michele Miller, got the nickname "Mint" from her grandfather. She's now known to her followers as Mint and is a personal coach who knows what she's talking about...she speaks and teaches from personal experience, after healing from childhood trauma. She's a Better Mint and is helping others become a better version of themselves.
We talk about the healing process, parenting and how we have a choice to break the cycle and give our kids a better example of being healthy and whole.
Through her work, she discovered that it all begins with setting healthy limits and boundaries and how these honor and align with our values.
