On this episode, we have guest, Penny Wise, President of 3M Canada.  Penny Wise was appointed President of 3M Canada in January 2020 and brings more than 20 years of global brand and marketing experience to her role, most recently as the Global Marketing Director of 3M’s Safety and Industrial Business Group. As President, Penny ensures that the company is always finding the right solutions for the Canadian market and its Canadian workforce, and that 3M Canada continues to play a significant role within the global organization and communities where it operates. This includes support for STEM education through initiatives that help to build equal and diverse leaders of tomorrow.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Penny spearheaded efforts to launch 3M Canada’s domestic manufacturing facility in Brockville, Ontario for the production of personal protective equipment for front-line workers. Penny is Co-Chair, Canadian Chamber’s Council for Women’s Advocacy which helps bring the perspectives of women to national policies and drive meaningful action to address the identified issues and barriers facing women. In 2021, Penny served as United Way Elgin Middlesex Campaign Chair leading the local region’s most important fundraising campaign. She is a board member for the Business Council of Canada and for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

At 3M, science is applied in collaborative ways to improve lives daily. With $32 billion in sales, 3M's employees connect with customers all around the world.
