PvA has been a source of useful insights and thoughtful perspectives since the start, but I'm enjoying it even more since they started bringing in a range of guests with diverse backgrounds and expertise. Kudos!

Look, this has been my go to podcast for the last year as the the creative and info spaces have been radically altered by AI, but lately it’s been a chore because the hosts and their petty swipes at each other. Every week it feels like I’ve walked into a room where teenagers have just stopped fighting. PvA folks: please remember that it is precisely your differing viewpoints that have allowed you to so accurately map the terrain in front of us and please leave your catty beefs with each other on your (mercifully) private group chats. I really like this show, and when they all work together it’s good! I never knew much about the media business, and this show has taught me a thing or two. But every time Alex starts to say something interesting about tech + media, Troy AI seems to pretend that it’s uninteresting and interrupts. We want to hear Alex too. 5% less Troy would go a long way.

You talk about media like it’s only about raw power and money. No one gets into this industry purely for those reasons. This isn’t game of thrones. Chill out.
