We, as a society, have so many options available to us which makes it so hard to make a decision. And sometimes after we have made a decision, big or small, we second guess ourselves and wonder if we made the right one. What is deserving of your energy and what isn’t? Do you spend time agonizing over which decision to make? Or maybe you worry about a decision you already made. Stop this vicious reconsider cycle. Trust your gut, commit to making a decision and this will rid you of decision fatigue and lighten your mental load. It’s good to audit big life decisions but don’t spend time agonizing over those small decisions that won’t make a difference in the long run. Having so many options may make us feel that we always need to make the perfect decision and this causes us massive unneeded stress. If you are feeling this way seek to simplify your life by only putting your energy into decisions that really matter to you. Where can you turn down the noise of too many choices?
