Best personal finance podcast

This is the best personal finance podcast. He’s relatable and presents honest information in a very real way. A great teacher, wish I would have found this sooner.
The craziest people sound rational at first

Within 30 seconds I knew this was not a place to get useful financial advice. It began with some sound libertarian theory about how government tends to be larger and less efficient than is necessary, but quickly falls into qanon-like nonsense about stockpiling and avoid vaccines–perhaps because of the microchips, but I'm not sure because yeet.

Gibberish and raving

I started with the “POTUS and the Fed” episode. Not thirty seconds in, the host is saying the Fed is a private business (no, it’s a government-established system managed by people who may have worked in private business), that it operates for profit (no, its earnings go mainly to the Treasury) and that it lends money to the government (generally no; it’s an auctioneer and secondary buyer of loans to the government, not a lender). Then he says “Don’t trust the mainstream media.” I don’t, but who should I trust instead? Some random angry podcaster, perhaps? Is this personal finance? Is it telling me how I can navigate Fed policy? No. It’s political axe-grinding that happens to be thoroughly misinformed. I have better uses for my time than listening to an Alex Jones wanna-be, and I suspect you do too.
