    Hang ‘Em High (1968) – A Perspective Review

    In 1968, an already 38-year-old Clint Eastwood was made a producer of a movie that was going to be the "bridge" back to the states when it came to the Spaghetti Westerns and Hollywood's at-all interest in the modern Western Feature film. A number of years later, a young 8 year old Canadian kid dreamt of becoming a lawman. Later, he did, and at the center of that grand vision was the aforementioned bridge feature film. It's title is Hang 'Em High - 1968, directed by Ted Post, starring Clint Eastwood and a robust cast of Hollywood talent that is likely almost as long as this podcast. The sun is high on the horizon and the time to Hang 'Em High, with the help of a podcast host and four life-long lawmen hailing from a variety of parts of North America.     Field of Dreams (1989) – A Perspective Review

    Baseball certainly isn't the same game it was even 5 years ago. If we go back to 10 years ago, rule changes, personalities and focuses on "enhancements" changed the game to be sure. If we travel back 20 years, we'll see how salaries have clearly evolved, how roles changed completely across the board and how owners have become legends - both revered and reviled. Who'd have thought that now almost 30 years later, a tiny little baseball movie, featuring a bunch of ghosts, a farm, and a game of catch Ray Kinsella never had - would be the focus of a Perspective Review? 1989's FIeld of Dreams offers a little bit of something - to everyone.     Avengers (2012) – A Perspective Review

    The concept of a "Superhero Team" had been thought about, drawn up, and shown to human eyes millions of times and satisfied every eye that saw them - on the written comic book page. When you talk about live-action television and feature films well - "Superhero Team" efforts, especially ones worth their salt when it comes to quality, care and polish well - they're few and far between to be sure. As Marvel's Cinematic Universe continued to build it's stand-alone, but still-in-the-family-of-characters collection of hero films, the rumors and whispers of what everyone hoped to be grand was everywhere.
