Noticing a lack of efficiency sparked an idea for a company to have success in the exchange of money in sports. Pete Makover created Payball Sports just 5 years ago when he figured out an easier way to pay sports officials, event staff, and coaches in a modern and organized way. The entrepreneurial life wasn't something he had always dreamt of but his knowledge and experience in software development and consulting helped him network and build relationships for the success of Payball. When COVID-19 struck earlier this year, he developed a unique internship program for college students and shares the plans he has in store for the program. Makover is a former Penn State men's lacrosse captain so we spoke about his legacy with the program and how he would be leading the team through a pandemic if he were the captain today. Payball is a young company that continues to find ways to assist more organizations and Makover is confident and excited about the brand's potential.
