Witty with a fun casual vibe
I love the spoiler free minisode + in-depth conversation format for each pilot. Very useful for getting what you want for a particular show. The hosts have great rapport and I like that they aren’t afraid to disagree or challenge each other’s opinions. I also appreciate the detailed show notes. Keep up the great work!
Fun & Unique Approach To Reviewing TV Series
Love the fresh and witty approach that this podcast has taken, when it comes to reviewing a series. It's said that one should never judge a book by it's cover, but Pilots and Petards does just that with the Pilot Episode of a series, taking it to the next level!
They don't just stop there, as there is usually a follow-up, further discussing the series, while being just as informative and amusing. Love how well everyone plays off of one another, even when they don't share the same opinions on something. A must-listen for binge watchers and casual TV fans alike!
Fun Concept, Great Chemistry!
I love the idea of focusing on the pilots of shows, and the hosts of Pilots & Petards have great chemistry. They have rich, smart discussions of not only the show itself, but also of related larger issues, like sexposition in Game of Thrones. Combining spoiler-free minisodes with extended episodes is a fantastic way to give listeners a sense of if they'd want to check out something new, while also rewarding listeners who are familiar with a particular show!
