"Airplane owners talk maintenance, pilots talk technique."
Ever heard the phrases "initial power reduction" for a C152, "any traffic in the area, please advise" on CTAF, or "wings level, rudder for centerline on landing" during your flight training in the Ph? I have... and worse.
Welcome to Pilots Talk Technique, where we'll talk about the myriad misconceptions and outright incorrect theory, procedures, and techniques that have made its rounds in the local aviation scene.
We'll discuss why these are wrong, and talk about what is actually correct to ultimately make us better and safer pilots.
