Musical explorers across a variety of genres

Love the record store here in Dallas so I thought I'd check out the podcast. Excellently researched, great diversity in artists and genres discussed, and great guests from across the DFW metroplex. Keep it up!

From one Gen X’r to Another

Not a “Podcast guy”, but I am a vinyl guy, so when my sister told me about Josey Records in Dallas, I was intrigued. I had moved away from Big D 20+ years ago, but always had good memories about the music scene and the record stores... Sound Warehouse, Peaches, Hit Records, Record Gallery, and of course, Bill’s Records and Tapes (Bill W is a family friend and I worked in his shop in the mid-late 80s). This podcast translates those memories into a 21st Century format. The host is great. The topics are great. The music recommendations are great. The stories are great. Can’t wait to listen to more. Also can’t wait to check out the shop in Dallas. From one Gen X music nerd to another, check this podcast series out.

Music Education for Real!

If this podcast was a Grateful Dead show, this is hands down, no doubt, no disputing THE 5/8/77 Cornell University show.

Every episode has been a great dive into music of all shapes and sizes.

This is intelligent, funny and very worth your time- open those ear-mouths and get some!
