“Planet of the Associations” is Seth Kahan and Mark Levy’s vlog and podcast for C-level leaders of associations. It takes a look at the association of the near future -- three years from now. How will that X+3 association be different from the association of today, in terms of leadership, membership, mission, vision, education, advocacy, certification, biz dev, and tactics? How can you go about creating that kind of world-changing association – starting this very second? Of course, if we want to see what's coming, we’ll have to shake things up . . . and that’s exactly what Seth and Mark will do. While parts of their show will be straightforward business discussions (i.e., How do you amp up member engagement?), much of it will approach business by deviating far off the beaten path and going to the edges. Expect to hear insights, ideas, and stories pulled from the worlds of math, science, artificial intelligence, art, history, comedy, sports, magic, and street theater... all kinds of things that may seem beside the point, but end up being the landscape where real innovation occurs.
