A must listen for gamers
As you play through games you often overlook the music playing in the background. Hearing the tracks on their own can transport you back to those epic gaming moments that we all love. The great music along with the great commentary make this a must listen, perfect length for a daily commute too.
Great Show. Very cool.
I really enjoy this podcast. JD really knows his stuff and he plays some great musical selections. It's cool to have a show that celebrates video game music from some of my favorite games!
A "Must" For Fans Of Video Game Music
If there's one aspect of gaming that I believe is under-appreciated these days, it's the music. There is so much focus on resolution, frame rate (and other topics for insecure fanboys to fight over) that we don't stop and take the time to celebrate just how far music in gaming as come. There have been some fantastic scores over the years, everything from Skyrim (Jeremy Seoule) to Axiom Verge (Thomas Happ), and it's about time someone starts to recognize the work done by these composers. JD brings a chill, relaxed atmosphere to the show as he breaks down his (and his listeners) favorite tracks from over the years. He's got the personality to hold the show down on his own, but it's always a nice change of pace when he brings on special guests. Keep up the great work JD, your efforts are greatly appreciated. - TheDude79
