047: On White-Knuckling Through Life + Wellness Real-Talk with Talia Pollock of Party In My Plants WANTcast: The Women Against Negative Talk Podcast

    • Mental Health

Today’s guest is my dear friend Talia Pollock, blogger, holistic health coach, plant-based chef, comedian, and creator of Party In My Plants. Party In My Plants is a platform and podcast that proves to people that becoming happier and healthier doesn't have to suck. Through her humorous and honest approach to healthy living, she inspires, instructs and empowers people to take small steps to transform their lives and take the HELL out of HEALTHY.

She’s currently writing her first cookbook, which will be published by Avery, an imprint of Penguin, and I could not be prouder to call her my pal. I’ve learned so much from her when it comes to engaging an audience, staying true to who you are, and making the serious stuff feel a lot more fun and accessible.

In this episode we talk the business side of podcasting/blogging/coaching and our advice to newbies, Talia’s plant party journey, our beef (or should I say, our tofu??) our beef with the commodification of the wellness industry, the link between wellness pros and food or body images and the stuff to be mindful of if that IS your story (it was with me), and so much more. I had so much fun with her and was on a high for the rest of the day, and know you will be too. Here’s Talia!
