It's My Turn with Becky Cain Experience 50 Podcast for Midlife

    • Personal Journals

Becky Cain successfully solo-parented and launched her four kids, watching each of them set out on their own adventures. At 50, she raised her hand and said “It’s my turn”. She moved 250 miles away from home, to a town where she didn’t have any real connections other than a job. She made a new home in a very small apartment, experienced being alone for the first time as an adult and learned to turn loneliness into quiet solitude and self-awareness.

The process took one full year. She harnessed her lessons, came home and started a new life including a foreign journey, a new business, and the knowledge that happiness comes from inside.
