I grew up poor.
Not just poor; but welfare, food stamps, living out of the back of a pick-up truck poor.
The way I viewed the world, money, and economics kept me living that way until my mid-twenties. I bought into socialist ideas and my programming kept me poor. But then, everything changed.
I can't remember the exact moment, but my thinking started to change. I began exploring other points of view. I started my own business. And I slowly broke the brainwashing that had held me back my entire life.
Like I said, I don't remember the straw that broke the camels back, but I now see things in a totally different light. And the change of view has helped me pull myself out of the poverty-stricken life I seemed destined for as a child.
Most of us are cursed to only see part of the whole picture. We're trained to view the world in a way that keeps us from succeeding. We're programmed for failure.
