Growing up, I was always a bit of an introvert, and comic books were a kind of safe haven for me.
When life got to be too much, I could always escape into the world of comics. Ninja Turtles, Spiderman, Batman and Spawn, these were my friends when the going got tough.
Pathetic? Maybe so. But I wasn't the only one. Millions of people found a similar sense of escapism in the pages of comic books. And one of the greatest people to ever write those pages was the legendary Stan Lee.
Sadly, Stan Lee passed away this week. He leaves behind a legacy and an entertainment empire. And for those with eyes to see and ears to hear, he left some pretty profound business lessons as well.
This episode is my farewell to Stan Lee, as well as some insights that he taught me on how to run a business. Tune in for some stories of my past, some stories of Stan's past, and some golden nuggets of business advice along the way.
