Cheers and hoppy beers, everyone! We're kicking things off with a double from one of our favorite breweries coming out of Iowa (or anywhere for that matter); we're drinking Toppling Goliath's Twisted Galaxy, a double IPA brewed with lots of galaxy hops!
We bring down the tone and get a little serious as we all share our feelings and our experience processing the deaths of those that we lost in the tragic helicopter crash, one of our all-time favorites, Kobe Bryant.
In Sports News: Greg is still upset about the Super Bowl outcome, a breakdown of the half-time show, Tom Brady is keeping his options open, Andre Iguodala will sit out the season if he isn't traded to an approved team, and more.
Our Bullpen Beer is one of Greg's home-brews; it his latest creation, a hazy IPA that he's calling "Not So Dry Dreams" Hazy IPA. It's packed with tons of Warrior, Citra, and Mosaic hops.
In Booze News: rumors are running around that Constellation sold Ballast Point for well under $100 million, Molson Coors is snatching up Atwater Brewing, Anheuser Busch spends TONS of money on seltzer ads, and a Brooklyn man is registering his beer as an emotion support animal.
