It’s 2:11AM September 23, 2007. 20-year-old Matthew Leveson and his partner 42 yo Michael Atkins leave the ARQ nightclub at Darlinghurst Sydney. Matthew would never be seen again. Almost a year later, Atkins would be charged with his murder. With no body, no blood, no murder weapon and no crime scene, Atkins would be found not guilty of murdering Matthew. The electrician was also acquitted of an alternative charge of manslaughter. Is this a case of justice gone wrong, a police stuff up or did the jury get it right….
