060: 3 Ways to Handle Negative Feedback

060: 3 Ways to Handle Negative Feedback

This week, Steph is bringing you an episode from the Courage and Clarity vault. We hope you enjoy a peek into the past, the version of this podcast and this business that built the Steph Crowder that you hear today.

Today Steph is sharing 3 ways to handle negative feedback, and how to reframe it once you get it. Steph believes that anticipating the negative feedback and having a fear of that type of feedback is actually scarier than the feedback itself.

Once you can take a step back and interpret the negative feedback for what it is, it can be really constructive for your business. But the key is you have to know when to take action on feedback and you have to know when to leave it for what it is.

    059: Promote, Fill, Repeat

Three steps come to mind when we think about what it takes to have a successful group program:
PromoteFillRepeat. The first thing you have to do to fill a group program is to get better at promoting in a way that is authentic, aligned, sustainable, consistent, and easy for you to do.
Once you get good at promotion, your next step is to fill your program. This is where the cornerstone, the foundation of The Messy Middle comes into play.
And once you get good at filling your program, you will also understand and document your repeatable sales process.

I take notes on every episode

I discovered Steph’s podcast in November 2023 after seeing an ad for her Year on the Wall program (which is also worth checking out, btw). As a relatively new side hustler with big dreams, I’ve already benefitted from her counsel on business and sales, and her episodes on mindset shifts are invaluable. I keep a notebook to jot down “aha” moments & reference it regularly. Thank you for your commitment to sharing your wisdom, Steph. This solopreneur is deeply grateful.

Just can’t get enough

I eagerly await each new episode of the Courage & Clarity podcast, and am always a little sad when it ends and I have to wait a whole week for the next one. Steph teaches sales and business stuff in such a relatable and digestible way, and I always feel inspired to keep at it with each episode. I share this podcast even with my non-entrepreneur friends, cuz it’s THAT good.

Phenomenal Conversations

I stumbled across this podcast accidentally and do I feel grateful for tuning in. I listened to one episode and I knew it was the “IT” podcast for someone on their entrepreneurial journey. Thank you, Steph.
