The Gravel Racing team of the future with Chris Schroeder

The Gravel Racing team of the future with Chris Schroeder

This week is a good old fashioned TGL throwback episode where we talk to a pro and follow along their career path. But, in classic TGL form, we don't talk about power metrics, or UCI points, but instead we discuss dyslexia and overcoming hurdles. Chris Schroeder has a very unique stance on the future of bike racing and we could not be happier to give him the opportunity to talk about Dimond Factory Racing with us.

The Middle of the Pack with David Richman

This week is a little different. Since you just had the two of us last week, we are bringing in the big guns this week and we have a man who has climbed many a mountain in his life. Financial industry, Corporate America, becoming a multi-time ironman, a writer, an advocate, and so many other things. He came into our sphere because of his book entitled “Cycle for Lives”, but we are going to give him the full TGL treatment.

Great Conversations

The shows are not your typical Q&A show. The hosts have real in-depth conversations with their guests and go beyond the superficial.

Super insightful and dedicated!

I had an incredible time talking to Doug and Jon. They are simply awesome! They are super insightful and dedicated to bringing remarkable depth when interviewing. It's clear that whether because they're focused on uncovering the hidden truths, curious about the raw and humbling human experience, or if they just are trying to bring their "pebbles" (listeners) a reason to go on interesting and transformative rides with them, they never disappoint. Kudos to your show!

Making the bike community more welcoming

This podcast is the Lachlan Morton of bike podcasts. All things bike adjacent is a great summary but they also do so much more. John and Doug do an excellent job of reaching out to the cycling community, and a lot of work expanding the traditional definition of ‘cycling community’ to anyone on two wheels and bringing in stories from across the wide breadth of experience that exists out there. It is wonderfully colorful, thoughtful and engaging. I love the focus they bring on a shared starting point - bikes - and then going literally everywhere and anywhere from there. Great job guys!
