The Recruiting Podcast: Successful Hiring Made Easy Professional Services Growth and Marketing

I recently shared strategies for using podcasts in human resources and employee communications. This week I wanted to talk more about using podcasts for human resources  or rather more specifically, recruiting.
It’s hard to calculate the true costs of hiring an employee. But what we do know from some studies and research is this: in 2016, SHRM reported that the average cost per hire was $4129. And, in 2017 Training magazine reported that the average cost to a company per learner was $1075. With the average annual turnover rate hovering in the 10% – 20% range, making wrong decisions when you hire someone can get costly, very quickly.

What if there was a way to filter the applicants that just want a job versus those applicants that want a job with YOUR company because they already know and have fallen in love with your company’s culture and mission?  Hiring an applicant that is a loyal fan of your company and its culture will surely reduce turnover rates and save you recruiting dollars. But how can you do this? By way of podcasting, of course!
