Why I'm Passionate About Helping Leaders Create Authentic and Engaging Workplaces The Bill Perry Show

    • Management

Are you stuck in a job and or life story you despise? Through this podcast, I’d love to help you change your story into one you can be proud of and look back on with admiration and gratitude. Speaking of stories, I’d like to share my story with you, today.

I’ll start by letting you in on a fun fact about me.  I’ve been talking professionally for almost all of my life.  Yes, seriously. At the age of 12, I received my first paycheck for speaking. I was the youngest person in the South East to pass the FCC 3rd Class Radio Licensing Exam.

I’ve always used my words to get opportunity and to build relationships. My life has been marked by performance, from drama to comedy and everything in between. I was best known for my Steve Martin impression in high school. Now, those are just some of the highlights. My diverse vocation history has given me a unique perspective on life and leadership, which I go into a bit more in this episode.

I also share with you the reason why I have started this podcast, which is to help people make change in life and in the workplace. I am passionate about helping leaders create authentic and engaging workplaces that offer a more fulfilling work experience for their team members.

In this episode, you’ll hear about:

My stint as a frontman for a hair band, think Van Halen
What my Myers-Briggs profile says about me
I didn’t graduate from high school, not in the traditional sense
My unique and vast vocation history
Why work experience is more a function of culture and collaboration
My why for this podcast and my promise to you
