Hello, and welcome to The Jak Bowler Podcast. This is a conversational podcast looking to explore how well you can know someone and why they are the way they are. Your mediator, Jak Bowler, has worked in the mobile phone industry for a number of years and see's the progressive dependence on the technology we use and the reliance of social media be something of a juxtaposition - Social media being inadvertently Anti-Social. Don't Be A Stranger wants to encourage it's listeners to reduce the looking down at screens and to look up and engage in conversation instead. Jak sits down with a different guest every episode from his life - friends, family, colleagues etc. to discuss them in greater detail and develop a better understanding of that person in the aim to develop a better relationship with that person. Ranging from the personal to the down right ridiculous, Jak explores HIS guest, WITH his guest, ultimately motivating them and the listeners to Don't Be A Stranger.
