Playstation nowPlayStation Now Vs Xbox Game Pass... PS Now Price CUT IN HALF! $10 a Month True Gamer Podcast

    • Video Games

In today's episode we talk about the new playstation now price drop where all of their subscription prices have been cut in half ($9.99 per month/£8.99 per month and $59.99 per year/£49.99 per year).

This move is very interesting because while the service was no where near successful as Xbox game pass it was actually making sony a lot of money in the background accumulating over 700,000 subscribers in a report in april equating to $14 million dollars a month. Playstation have not been vocal on Playstation now and it's perks which would seem to the average person that they don't have much faith in it, which is strange because the service is almost exactly like game pass AND with a bigger library and possibly some more recognisable titles. the main point in which they differ that is a big factor is that Phil spencer recently announced that all Xbox first party games that release on Xbox will also be released Day and Date on the Xbox Game Pass Service all for that low price of $14.99 per month, which is amazing.

In this video we also discuss the timing of this price drop and possible strategies for the next console generation and what this could mean sony is planning in the background with Playstation now...
