    • Self-Improvement

Today on The Kondrat Podcast, I sat down with Ellen Parker - CEO of PARKER Public Relations & PARKER Media.  Ellen is passionate about public relations and building an agency was always her vision.  We discuss her journey that brought her across North America before returning to Calgary to realize her goal and build PARKER PR.
Ellen has worked with some amazing organizations in her career, including Wordfest, Calgary Food Bank, Alberta Government, Institute for Children and Poverty in New York, and The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.  Outside of work, Ellen believes in leading by example and is on the board for the Famous 5 as well as the CPO Foundation..
Through PARKER PR, Ellen is dedicated to make Calgary the best place to live.  Her company has helped many organizations navigate through our challenging economy, as well as the current pandemic.  Her team is passionate about helping companies grow to their full potential and watching our communities become more and more desirable.
As a company, Ellen is committed to creating a culture where people can be creative and feel supported, “my team supports each other and without sounding trite - we are a family”.  Her mantra is “be kind” and I am grateful that she joined the podcast to share her story.
I hope you enjoy our surprisingly interesting conversation.
