The scripture I was talking about is Luke 12:31- "But seek the kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you." (NKJV) but...
Matthew 6:33 in the message translation has a less formal way of saying it: " Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met." 
I like that one better myself.
