Feeling Political Fatigue and Pandemic Burnout? The Antidotes are Hope, Action, and Gratitude‪.‬ Dear Family,

    • Mental Health

*A short solo minisode- The most important election of our lifetime is happening during a once in a century worldwide public health crisis. Scarlett red, electric blue, or a shade of purple in between, one thing we can all agree on is the value of HOPE, ACTION, and GRATITUDE in moving us forward in the right direction. For four years a shocking news cycle has not let up. Anxiety and stress due to the Coronavirus add a whole other complicated layer. Reports of Election Day fears of outbreaks of violence are resulting in people stocking up on basic supplies with fears of a Civil War breaking out in our streets resulting in an increase in gun sales. It’s no wonder we’re all on edge.
Cases of anxiety and depression have quadrupled since COVID19 became a household name. We’re fatigued with restrictions, worried about our kids and seniors, and feeling very restless. We don’t want to cancel our holiday plans with our loved ones and yet we’re being warned it’s about to be a very dark winter.
The American Way, the American Dream, and our American Exceptionalism are ideals we will never give up on. We stand on the shoulders of people who came before us and we will continue to fight for a better future for those who come after us.
